Washington junior Nic Stone has earned a spot on the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association All-Substate team for Substate 5.

Stone averaged 14.8 points per game last season, leading the Demons in scoring while shooting 41% from the field and 37% from beyond the three-point line. Stone was also a 70% free throw shooter on a team that averaged a solid 66%.

Stone is joined by several familiar foes from last season, including Jaxon Clark of Keokuk, Austin Schulte and Jack McGuire of Pella, and Nolan Guzman of Fort Madison.
