Washington County Hospital and Clinics (WCHC) will update specialty care offerings with the expansion of urology services at the Ken and Rosemary Hanson Specialty Clinic this spring. Urology services will be provided by Dr. Margaret Ekroth, MD, and Dr. Luke Brunkhorst.
Ekroth is a board-certified urologist with experience treating a wide range of urologic conditions, including kidney stones, urinary incontinence, prostate conditions, and urologic cancers. She earned her medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and completed her residency in urologic surgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
Brunkhorst brings more than a decade of experience in urologic care and surgical treatment of urinary conditions. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University and completed his residency in urologic surgery at Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Urology services will be available four days per week, including both clinic visits and surgical procedures at WCHC. Appointments with Ekroth will be available starting April 1, and Brunkhorst will begin to see patients April 20 at the Ken and Rosemary Hanson Specialty Clinic in Washington.
