Grant opportunities are returning this spring in Washington for downtown businesses and property owners. Main Street Washington is again offering both DIG and Micro DIG, with applications becoming available in early April. DIG stands for Downtown Investment Grant.

DIG grants are offered up to $50,000 with a minimum investment of $100,000. Micro-DIG Grants are up to $10,000 with a required 1:1 match. All projects require owner funding. Funds will be awarded after the project is completed and applications will be available year round with awards made semi-annually.

The goal of this program is to encourage remodeling and repair work to buildings within the designated Main Street District. These grants are funded through the City of Washington made possible with municipal grant funds from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation.
