
The candidates for Washington County races have been announced after the filing period closed on Friday. These names will appear on the primary ballots in June.
The seats up for this election include County Supervisor for District 3 and District 5, Recorder, Treasurer, and Attorney.
For District 3 Supervisor, two Republicans will be on the primary ballot: they are Bill Poch and incumbent Marcus Fedler.
Current District 5 Supervisor Richard Young is retiring at the end of the term. District 5 has six names on the ballot. The four Republicans vying to be on the ballot in November include: Jeff Batterson, Brendan DeLong, Michael Griswold, and Michelle Redlinger. Democrats who will be on the primary ballot include Darin Beezley and Lynette Iles.
Incumbent Recorder Teresa Mangold (Rep.) is running unopposed. Treasurer Jeff Garrett is retiring at the end of current term. There is only one individual running and that is Lindsay Greiner Adam (Rep.) County Attorney Nathan Repp (Rep.) is the incumbent and is running unopposed.
The primary election will be held on June 2nd.
