A Jefferson County woman who went missing earlier this month has been found deceased.

Mary Anne Falk, age 75, of Maharishi Vedic City was last seen leaving her home on March 6th just before 10 p.m. in an unknown direction of travel. Despite efforts from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the Iowa State Patrol and local search parties, Falk could not be located.

Falk was found deceased at approximately 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 21st. The family has been notified. An autopsy has been scheduled with the State of Iowa Medical Examiner in Ankeny.
