Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig announced the Renewable Fuels Infrastructure Program has awarded 33 ethanol infrastructure grants to companies across the state.

The approved projects represent over $2.12 million across 25 counties in state cost-share grants. It will help retailers install or upgrade equipment needed to offer E15 or unleaded 88.

Several counties in southeast Iowa received funds from the grant. In Henry County, Reif Oil Company in Mt. Pleasant was approved for $75,000. In Iowa County, Scheetz Group LLC in Williamsburg was approved for $67,459.81 and Victor’s Market in Victor was granted $75,000.

In Jefferson County, Elliot Oil Company in Batavia was granted $45,000. In Johnson County, Scheetz Group LLC in Oxford was approved for $15,739.58. In Louisa County, Two River Market at Columbus Junction was approved for $75,000.
