The Washington County Fair Swine Committee is preparing for the spring weigh-in for production swine. 

The production swine division includes production gilts and production barrows. Those wanting to participate must contact the Extension Office by April 3rd for their exact weigh-in time on April 11th. Participation in the production swine division is optional for all exhibitors. Exhibitors may nominate a maximum of six barrows and maximum of six gilts at the production weigh-in. 

The Single Source Commercial Swine class is also a part of the Production Swine show. Those wanting to participate in this unique Washington County Fair class must pre-register by calling the Extension Office, 319-653-4811, by April 1st. Pig pickup will be on April 11th from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
