The Washington Area Performing Arts and Events Center is hosting a night of choral excellence with the University of Iowa Kantorei in Concert.

The concert will be held in the Hanson Auditorium of the Washington Area Performing Arts and Events Center this Thursday, March 26th, beginning at 7 p.m.

Kantorei is the University of Iowa’s premier choral ensemble. Made up of roughly two dozen graduate and undergraduate singers, the ensemble presents multiple concerts on campus each year and embarks on regional tours, serving as ambassadors of the School of Music’s performance tradition. Known for its depth and collaborative spirit, Kantorei regularly joins forces with leading professional vocal ensembles.

The ensemble is under the direction of Dr. David Puderbaugh, Director of Choral Activities at the University of Iowa. This performance is the first stop on their tour.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for college students, and students in grades 12 and under are free. Tickets are available online or at the door.
