The Keota girls’ basketball team flew quite high this season, breaking a record as a team and snapping a couple of individual records in the process.

As a team, the Eagles broke the old school record for wins in a season with 18. The record breaking win came in their thrilling, Region 6 quarterfinal victory over Highland.

Individually, sophomore Cameron Haifley broke two school records. Haifley’s 418 points for the year easily surpassed the old record of 344. Furthermore, Haifley’s 8 blocks against Highland to open the season on November 21st broke the old record of 7 blocks.

The Eagles finished 18-6 this season under head coach Jeff Sprouse.
