For the third consecutive year, the Kalona Home Show returns to help area residents find the perfect business for their next home project. 

This year’s event will be held on Friday, March 27th, from 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, March 28th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kalona Community Center.

Kalona Chamber of Commerce Director Tonia Poole gives her pitch as to why everyone should consider attending the home show, “We love showcasing our local businesses, and oftentimes, we don’t realize we need a business, their services or their resources until we’re in a pinch and something comes up. We try to plan for projects and things going on in our homes. But sometimes, life just happens, and we find ourselves in a bind. So it’s kind of nice to know what’s in our backyard, that we have great quality businesses that are ready to serve us.”

Poole says over 20 businesses return from last year, but there are also a handful of new businesses that will be attending for the first time this year.
