A proclamation designating April as Child Abuse Prevention Month is on the agenda for the Washington County Board of Supervisors Tuesday. The proclamation will acknowledge the critical role positive childhood experiences play in lifelong health and well-being. It also highlights the importance of strong families and community support systems in preventing abuse and neglect. 

Also on the agenda is an agreement for a Traffic Safety Improvement Project for funding assistance for County Road W38 (Ginkgo Avenue) safety improvements including paved shoulders and rumble strips.  

After the meeting, the supervisors will have a work session on the secondary roads five-year road plan. 

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in Orchard Hill Building three.
