After a 20-win season, the Highland girls basketball team can now look back at a successful year in which the team tied or broke several school records.

For the season, the Huskies set marks for its best conference record and finish, sitting first at a perfect 16-0. Highland also broke records for most steals, at 435, and best defensive average at just 36.83 points per game.

For individual games, Highland tied its own record for least amount of points allowed in a single quarter, with the Huskies allowing no points six times throughout the season. That extends to the half as well, with Highland blanking Cedar Valley Christian in the second half of their December 5th tilt. That same game, an 84-2 Huskies win, set a school record for the fewest points allowed in a single game.

In addition, several Huskies are climbing the career leaderboards. Sophomore Kamryn Fink now ranks tenthh in steals with 219, sixth in rebounds with 665, fifth in defensive rebounds with 483, eighth in blocks with 86, and fifth in three pointers made with 84. Meanwhile, junior Katelyn Thomann now ranks ninth in three pointers made with 71.
