The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk Archery club has been on the mark all season.

Based on regular season tournament results, the Hawks have qualified a program record 61 archers for the State Block and 3D Championship meets later this month. That breaks the previous record of 60 competitors set last year.

At the high school level, archers who will shoot both block and 3D in Des Moines include Landon Allen, Rylee Cady, Eli Conrad, Preston Ford, Nick Kelley, Kinzlee Kiefer, Levi Luers, Ava Miller, Caitlyn Peters, Johnathon Pickard, Sophia Puttmann, Kenna Robertson, Treyven Schwartz, Lael Seale, Maddie Sieren, Elijah Statler, Harlee West and Allie Whetstine. Those who qualified in block only are Kylee Berry, Declan Brady, Silas Cable, Jacob Debler, Landon Hough, Stella Janecek, Jaiden Lara, Madilyn Liska, Sarah Park, Nickolas Peck and Skylar Swift.

For the middle school and elementary Hawks, shooters who will compete in both block and 3D include Logan Beachy, Lara Brenneman, Levi Coblentz, Noah Coblentz, Lane Janecek, Brooklyn Lisa, Brooks Meyer, Beckett Miller, Bryce Miller, Nolan Mohling, Lane Norman, Claire O’Connor, Ruby Regenwether, Emilia Rodgers, Braxton Ropp, Levi Sanchez, Mason Schneider and Joshua Seale. Those shooting block only are Monica Beachy, Andrew Cue, Bretton Flynn, Jayce Frieden, Beniah Fulton, Easton Gorsch, Aven Jaspering, Axel Miller, Easton Miller, Joey Miller, Sam Newton, Ellie Rand, Brielle Robertson, and Charlotte Wehr. Those in the 3D contest only are Zayley Jaspering and Jenna Puttmann.

The National Archery in the Schools Program Iowa State Championships are held in the Jacobson Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines March 27th through the 29th.
