Chair of the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) announced that Grant Ranch Grub & Pub in Sigourney was named the Small Business of the Week.

The honor is meant to emphasize the importance of small businesses in local communities. Grant Ranch Grub & Pub was founded in the late 1960s by Duane and Mary Grant. It was revived in 2003by their daughter Sherry Fisher and the restaurant is operated on Sigourney’s square.

Senator Ernst says that she will continue to recognize small businesses in Iowa with her Small Business of the Week award.
