The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team wrapped up a successful winter and are receiving recognition with All-River Valley Conference accolades
Golden Hawk senior Bryce Henry was a First-Team All-Conference member. Henry finished sixth in Class 2A with 72 made threes. His 40.4% from downtown was ninth best in the state among those with at least 150 attempts. Henry’s 400 points and 148 made field goals both led the Hawks and were fourth most in conference. His team best 136 rebounds were eighth in the RVC. He also added 35 assists and 26 steals.
Junior Brooks Weber was a Second-Team selection. Weber led the team with 80 assists, fifth most in the River Valley and 57 steals, third in conference. His 37.3% from three was fourth in the RVC for those with at least 100 attempts while scoring 306 points, ninth in conference, knocking down 105 shots, 10th most, 53 threes, third most. Weber’s 124 rebounds were eighth in the River Valley.
Senior Hudson Ehrenfelt was an Honrable Mention RVC pick. Ehrenfelt posted 183 points, 77 rebounds, 74 made shots, 52 assists and 22 steals.
The Hawks finished with a 16-7 overall record, their sixth straight winning season.
