The 2025-26 Columbus girls’ basketball team left their mark on the record books this season, setting one record and tying another.
The Columbus defense set a record for the lowest amount of points given to a single opponent, coming during a 59-6 thrashing of New London on January 29th. The Columbus offense, meanwhile, tied the school record for most three-pointers in a single game with 10 against Winfield-Mt. Union on February 2nd. Individually, Iris Garza made the fourth most three-pointers in a season, draining 36.
Columbus finished 11-11 this season under head coach Kasey Keltner.
