A wreck in Washington sent two individuals to the hospital. 

On Saturday, two vehicles were involved in a collision with a cement barricade. At approximately 11:20 a.m., the Washington Communications Center received a report of two vehicles involved in a wreck at the intersection of East 11th Street and North 12th Avenue in Washington. The caller reported that airbags were deployed and one individual was trapped in their vehicle. The drivers were Mindy Reasor of Washington and Ivan Torres Reyes of Washington. 

One driver was transported to the Washington County Hospital and the other was transported to the University of Iowa Hospital by Washington County Ambulance. 

Responding to the scene was the Washington Police Department, Washington Fire Department, Washington Ambulance Service, and Washington QRS. Also assisting at the scene was Moore’s Towing. No charges have been filed.
