The Highland Huskies boys basketball team broke two school records this basketball season.

Huskies junior Jacob Schneider now holds the school record for blocks in a single game, picking up 7 blocks in a game during a 66-53 loss to Columbus on January 16, 2026. The previous record had been 6 blocks, with three different players having accomplished the feat.

In addition, junior Landon Roling broke the single-season record for free throw percentage. Roling sank 48 of 54 free throws this season, setting a new mark of 88.9 percent. The previous mark, 86.1 percent, was set by Jason Bex in 1993.

The Huskies finished 3-20 this season under head coach Bill Zyweic.
