Area archers gathered at Washington High School last Saturday for the final meet before NASP state competition later this month.

Washington High School archers placed second as a team in the bullseye competition with a score of 3265. Zach Hotchkiss was the top performer for the boys, placing first among all boys with a 292 and 22 tens, a personal best. Killian Ribble found his way into the top ten with a 274 and 12 tens. Itzell Calixto was the top performer for the girls, placing fifth with a 279 and 13 tens, a personal best. Hannah Lipski also placed in the top ten, taking seventh with a 276 and 10 tens.

In the 3D competition, Washington again placed second with a score of 1677. Hotchkiss was again the top performing boy with a score of 287 and 21 tens. Ayden Vargas finished seventh with a 276 and 13 tens. Ribble finished ninth with a 274 and 13 tens. Chloe Hoback was the top performing girl, finishing third and shooting a 283 and 15 tens, a personal best. Lipski finished fourth with a 279 and 15 tens, Sophie Wittmayer finished seventh with a personal best 278 and 16 tens, and Calixto finished tenth with a 272 and 13 tens.

Washington Middle School archers placed second in the bullseye competition with a score of 3192. Jordan Thorius was the top performer for the boys, taking first place among all middle school boys with a 279 and 15 tens. Jace Helfrich finished third with a 278 and 15 tens. Aryana Jones was the top performing girl with a 273 and 11 tens, taking second. Also in the top ten were Kirya Coates with a 268 and 9 tens, Lillith Hernandez with a 265 and 9 tens, Miriam Pierce with a 260 and 6 tens, and Estrella Sanchez with a 255 and 8 tens.

In the 3D competition, Washington placed second with a score of 1622. Helfrich came out on top for the Demon boys, finishing second with a 281 and 16 tens. Jordan Thorius finished fifth with a 275 and 10 tens. Braxton Rich finished seventh with a 265 and 13 tens. Jones led the girls with a second place finish following a personal best 274 and 17 tens. Hernandez finished fourth with a 264 and 7 tens. Pierce took sixth with a 263 and 8 tens. Sanchez finished seventh with a personal best 257 and 9 tens. Coates finished ninth with a 253 and 7 tens.

Lincoln Elementary archers placed first in the bullseye competition with a score of 2864. Mason Ousey was the top performer for the boys, placing first with a score of 270 and 10 tens, a personal best. Also in the top ten were Rowan Ayrit with a 266 and 7 tens, and Jack Green with a 257 and 6 tens. Both Ayrit and Green also put forth personal bests. Tinley Timmins was the top performing girl with a 239 and 5 tens, a personal best, and was joined in the top ten by Emma Timmins with a 234 and 3 tens, and Zoey Marner with a 226 and 4 tens.

In the 3D competition, Lincoln Elementary placed first with a score of 1451. Ayrit led the boys with a second place finish, shooting a 254 and 7 tens, a personal best. Green placed fifth with a 242 and 6 tens. Ousey finished seventh with a 242 and 3 tens. Rosalie Montz was the top performer for the girls, taking second with a 246 and 6 tens, a personal best. Marner finished third with a 236 and 8 tens, another personal best.

Mid-Prairie High School archers placed fourth in the bullseye competition with a score of 3185. Elijah Statler was the top performing boy, placing third with a 289 and 19 tens. Johnathan Pickard finished fifth with a 286 and 18 tens. Harlee West was the top placing girl, finishing 13th with a 269 and 8 tens.

In the 3D competition, Mid-Prairie finished first shooting a 1686. Pickard took the top spot for the boys, finishing first with a 290 and 22 tens. Statler finished fourth with a 284 and 15 tens. Preston Ford took fifth with a 279 and 16 tens, a personal best. Mya Brenneman was the top performing girl, placing second with a personal best 284 and 20 tens. West finished fifth with a personal best 279 and 14 tens.

Mid-Prairie Middle School archers placed first in the bullseye competition with a score of 3201. Bryce Miller was the top placing boy, taking second with a 279 and 14 tens. Other top ten finishers were Nolan Mohling with a 278 and 12 tens, Mason Schneider with a 271 and 10 tens, Easton Miller with a 270 and 10 tens, and Aven Jaspering with a 269 and 8 tens. Ruby Regenwether was the top performing girl, taking first 0ut of all middle school girls with a 273 and 16 tens. Other top ten finishers were Josie Miller with a 264 and 10 tens, and Claire O’Connor with a 257 and 6 tens, a personal best.

In the 3D competition, Mid-Prairie finished first with a score of 1644. Bryce Miller took the top spot for the boys, placing third with a 279 and 16 tens. Mohling placed fourth with a 275 and 13 tens. Braxton Ropp took sixth with a 270 and 15 tens, a personal best. Levi Coblentz finished ninth with a personal best 264 and 10 tens. Regenwether was the top performing girl, taking first with a personal best 282 and 16 tens. Lara Brenneman also posted a personal best, finishing third with a 274 and 13 tens.

St. James Elementary archers placed second in the bullseye competition with a score of 2412. Emmett Gratz was the top placing boy, taking 19th with a 227 and 5 tens. Bennett Vittetoe was the top performing girl, placing fifth with a 229 and 3 tens, a personal best. Merris Beuchle joined her in the top ten, finishing eighth with a 227 and 3 tens, also a personal best.

In the 3D competition, St. James finished third with a score of 1299. Paxton Glover was the top performing boy, finishing 15th with a 227 and 3 tens, a personal best. Vittetoe was the top performing girl, finishing seventh with a 214 and 3 tens. Saylor Altenhofen finished eighth with a 211 and 3 tens, a personal best. Dalia Atilano Marcelino finished tenth while recording a personal best 208 with 2 tens.
