The WACO Community School District has announced a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held for a new facility at the high school.
The school announced a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Eichelberger Farms Agri-Science Center and Greenhouse in Wayland. Guests will be able to walk around the new facility to explore. The new facility features a greenhouse, animal pens, specialized rooms for smaller animals, and a conference room for guest speakers.
The WACO annual FFA plant sale will happen on the same day to give attendees a chance to support the ag program even further through buying plants grown by WACO students.
The ceremony is scheduled for May 2nd at 8:45 a.m.
The facility was funded in part by a $115,000 Washington County Riverboat Foundation grant and a donation from Eichelberger Farms.
