
Girls from five area schools competed at the Dickinson Relays at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls on Monday.
Washington runners included Mya Green (165th, 9.42), Sparkle Jones (174th, 9.57), and Sawyer Manz (175th, 9.63) in the 60m preliminaries. Kaleah Gerdes (88th, 11.16), and Lillyn Magdefrau (121st, 11.89) competed in the 60m hurdle preliminaries. Manz (150th, 31.77), Jones (160th, 32.13), and Green (164th, 32.44) also competed in the 200m. Taylor Miksch (103rd, 1:11.03), Ellie Van Der Molen (140th, 1:16.18), and Parker Coleman (146th, 1:19.75) competed in the 400m. Miksch (92nd, 3:00.72), Coleman (100th, 3:06.57), and Van Der Molen (105th, 3:09.70) also ran in the 800m. Green, Gerdes, Manz, and Magdefrau (61st, 2:06.38) competed in the 4x200m relay.
Magdefrau (96th, 10’5″) was the lone jumper for the Demon girls. Emma Mullins (63rd, 8.58m), Kinley Miksch (79th, 8.08m), and Vivienne Kroll (111th, 7.01m) competed in the shot put.
For the Columbus Wildcats, runners included Ella Howell (70th, 8.61), Deira Grommet (187th, 9.95), and Jessica Del Rio (191st, 10.24) in the 60m preliminaries. Ivy Dennler (138th, 12.58) competed in the 60m hurdles. Howell (23rd, 28.22), Jocelyn Hernandez (146th, 31.49), and Daniela Diaz (151st, 31.78) ran in the 200m. Naveiah Garza (72nd, 1:08.56), Iris Garza (98th, 1:10.74), and Rozlynn Garza (149th, 1:21.43) competed in the 400m. Dennler, Hernandez, Del Rio, and Diaz (64th, 2:08.30) ran in the 4x200m relay, while Iris Garza, Naveiah Garza, Rozlynn Garza, and Gabriela Duran (40th, 11:47.74) ran in the 4x800m relay.
Ella Howell (75th, 13’4″) was the lone Wildcat in the long jump. Isabella Forbes (18th, 10.54m) and Delta Cutler (85th, 7.86m) competed in shot put.
Keota Eagle runners included Olivia Lyle (50th, 8.52), Zoey Sieren (104th, 8.82), and Cameron Haifley (166th, 9.43) ran in the 60m preliminaries. Haifley (130th, 12.20) also competed in the 60m hurdle preliminaries. Olivia Lyle (85th, 29.79), Elyse Lyle (107th, 30.26), and Haifley (172nd, 33.58) ran in the 200m. Elyse Lyle (42nd, 1:05.91), and Olivia Lyle (67th, 1:08.35), also ran in the 400m. The team of Sieren, Haifley, Elyse Lyle and Olivia Lyle (47th, 2:02.18) ran in the 4x200m relay.
Elyse Lyle (50th, 14’6″) also competed in the long jump.
For WACO, Natalie Wagler (105th, 8.84) and Mei Leichty (135th, 9.06) ran in the 60m preliminaries. Bren Graber (47th, 10.71) competed in the 60m hurdle preliminaries. Leichty (114th, 30.381), Wagler (115th, 30.389), and Madelyn Farmer (138th, 31.32) ran in the 200m. In the 400m was Josie Dykstra (33rd, 1:04.90), Aliya Graber (120th, 1:12.91), and Javan Davis (134th, 1:14.57). Trinity Dean (91st, 3:00.66). The Warriors had two relay teams. The team of Wagler, Farmer, Bren Graber, and Davis (47th, 2:02.18) ran in the 4x200m, while the team of Dykstra, Macie Carter, Carlee Lunsford, and Aliya Graber (14th, 10:42.93) ran in the 4x800m.
Bren Graber (32nd, 4’08”) participated in the high jump, and Madelyn Farmer (29th, 15’4″) competed in the long jump.
Finally, Highland’s Hailey Brun (81st, 8.66), Kamryn Fink (93rd, 8.73), and Ava Sexton (185th, 9.87) ran in the 60m preliminaries. Sienna Bell (35th, 10.33), Maiya Singbeil (75th, 11.02), and Brena Hazelett (110th, 11.60) ran in the 60m hurdle preliminaries. Sexton (180th, 34.77) was the lone participant in the 200m. Alexa Hahn (20th, 1:03.80), Kinzie Ruess (1:07.33), and Sienna Bell (96th, 1:10.64) competed in the 400m. Grace Bombei ran in both the 800m (87th, 2:58.25) and the 1500m (5:52.63). In the relays, the team of Singbeil, Hahn, Ruess, and Fink (21st, 1:53.95) ran in the 4x200m.
The Huskies’ Chloe Sexton (34th, 9.60m), Jillian Stransky (103rd, 7.39m), and Alexis Weldon (136th, 5.68m) competed in the shot put. Ruess (22nd, 4’08”) and Singbeil (36th, 4’08”) participated in the high jump, and Hahn (21st, 15’10”) competed in long jump.
