A second straight division title for the Hillcrest Academy Raven boys basketball team has turned into a big haul of post-season hardware. Five members of this year’s Raven squad were recognized with spots on All-Southeast Iowa Superconference teams.

Senior Rowan Miller was a unanimous First-Team All-SEISC selection. His 189 assists led the Ravens and all of Class 1A, to go with 366 points, fifth in the Superconference, 141 made field goals, sixth in league play, 110 rebounds, 86 steals second in conference and 31 made threes, ninth most.

Junior Kale Bailey was also a First-Team All-Superconference choice. Bailey finished with 428 points, third in the Superconference and 190 made shots second most, both best for the Ravens. He also accounted for 158 rebounds, ninth in conference, 43 assists and 39 steals.

Sophomore Gibson Scott was a Second-Team Superconference selection. Scott led the Ravens with 185 rebounds, fourth in the league to go with 348 points, sixth in conference, 144 made shots, fifth most, 50 assists and 40 steals.

A pair of Raven seniors were named honorable mention. Lincoln Miller finished with 206 points, 100 rebounds, 40 steals, 35 assists and a team best 52 made threes, fourth in conference play. Isaac Birky had 114 points, 63 assists, seventh in conference, 46 steals, ninth most and 27 rebounds.

Hillcrest won the Southeast Iowa Superconference North Division title for the second straight season, the first time they have gone back-to-back in 15 years, ending with a 20-5 overall record.
