After their best season by the numbers in over a decade the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls basketball team was recognized for their exceptional year with accolades from the River Valley Conference. Four Golden Hawks were named All-RVC for 2025-26.
Senior Jovi Evans was a First-Team All-River Valley selection. Evans led the conference with a 37.8% mark from three point range, for those with at least 50 attempts. Her 269 points scored were fifth most in the RVC. Evans posted 101 made shots, 63 assists and 53 made free throws, all sixth most in league play, to go with 132 boards, eighth most and 59 steals.
Junior Morgyn Bender was a First-Team All-Conference performer. Bender’s 320 points, 126 made shots and 32 blocks were all best for the Hawks and second most in conference play. Her 73 steals were third in the league as were her 47 made threes.
Junior Brooklyn Schneider was a Second-Team RVC selection. Schneider’s campaign included 224 points, 76 rebounds, 33 assists and 32 steals. She knocked down 42 threes, sixth most in the RVC with a second best in conference 76% mark at the charity stripe, for those with at least 50 attempts.
Sophomore Tessa Bombei was chosen All-RVC Honorable Mention. Bombei finished with 203 points, 116 rebounds and 38 steals. Her 67 assists were fifth most in the River Valley.
The Golden Hawks finished runner-up in the River Valley Conference and had an 18-6 overall record, their highest win total since 2013.
