The second of three legislative briefings of this session will be held tomorrow at noon in Washington City Hall. The briefing comes one week before the second funnel of the legislative session.

The Washington Chamber of Commerce is hosting the legislative briefings, and the event will include commentary from Iowa State District 92 Representative Heather Hora and Iowa State District 46 Senator Dawn Driscoll. 

The briefings are open to residents within Washington County. The first 20 minutes will be an update from legislators, followed by 30 minutes of comments or questions from the public. 

These sessions are the public’s chance to stay informed about legislative activities, ask questions directly of legislators, and discuss matters that are important to the community.
