The Hillcrest Academy Raven boys basketball team ended the regular season with momentum Tuesday, taking down visiting Cedar Valley Christian 87-65 at Hillcrest Union in Kalona. The contest was even at 18 after one and the Ravens led 40-34 at the break. Hillcrest outscored the Huskies 47-31 in the second half including 24-11 in the fourth to pull away for the win. The Ravens shot a blistering 63% from the floor with 39 rebounds, 25 assists, and 11 steals. Individual leaders included a pair of double doubles with Gibson Scott scoring a career best 31 points and pulling in a dozen boards. Rowan Miller posted a school record and career high 17 assists to go with 13 points. Miller is now the Ravens all-time career, single season and single game assists leader. Kale Bailey scored 21 points.

Hillcrest is now 18-4 on the season as CVC drops to 11-8.
