Billy Stage
A Washington man was arrested Friday on felony probation violation charges.
Just after 11 a.m. Friday, the Washington Police Department arrested 42-year-old Billy Stage of Washington on a warrant for parole violation on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of third degree burglary.
According to court documents, Stage was arrested in September of 2023 for the charges of burglary in the third degree, a class D felony, and two counts of forgery, both class D felonies. Then on November 30th, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Stage on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, third or subsequent offense, a class D felony. Stage was found guilty of all charges.
Stage had been serving out his sentence on parole, and failed to report for parole meetings, was not present for home checks, and was unable to participate in a drug screening. He is currently being held in the Washington County Jail, and a revocation hearing has yet to be scheduled.
