PAWS and More Animal Shelter in Washington will be celebrating Mardi Paws with local businesses as a way to fundraise for the care of animals. 

Shelter Director Amber Talbot shares more on the fundraising event, “We have Mardi Paws and Cat Tuesday as well, so we have several restaurants partnering with us collaboratively that night, some are through the day and all night, and will donate a percent of sales to the shelter. So, it ends up being a pretty good fundraiser for us when everyone collaborates together. So, watch for those partnering restaurants. Those are all kind of scattered throughout Washington County as well as Johnson County, so you don’t have to live locally to support our Mardi Paws event.”  

On Tuesday, February 17th, participating restaurants will be donating 10% or more of their sales to benefit PAWS and More. A full list of participating restaurants can be found with this news story at KCIIRadio.com.
