A bead weaving exhibit is available to view the entire month of February at the Washington Public Library.

The exhibit is titled The Possibility of Beads and is provided by fiber artist Sandy Lnenicka. Librarian LeAnn Kunz shares more on the display, “We have a lot of pieces of hers that she is going to show, so it is actually going to overflow into our second level Siegle cabinet. This exhibit is going to present some mind boggling pieces in bead weaving and design. She makes not only jewelry, that’s what we think of as the obvious, but also sculptures that are just made from fishing line, beads, and a needle. Some of this stuff ends up being sculpted bowls, and there is one that is a little bird feeder with a bird. They’re extravagant, they’re elegant, and you are going to be blown away.”

Lnenicka has been creating bead art since 2013.
