The Washington Demon and Golden Hawk Archery Clubs traveled to Springville last week for their annual tournament.

The High School Demons finished fourth of 12 teams in block with their score of 3309. Center Point-Urbana won the title with a 3370. Top Washington boys performer was Hunter Barnes third with a 288 and 20 tens. Hannah Lipski was fourth for the girls with a 285 and 20 tens. In 3D, the Demons were third as a team with a 1657. Ayden Vargas led the boys in seventh with a 281 and 14 tens. Hunter Barnes was eighth. For the girls, Hannah Lipski was 10th at 276 with 12 tens.

For the middle school Demons, it was fourth place as a team in block out of 15 schools with a 3164 score. Mount Vernon was the winner at 3220. Individually for the boys, Jordan Thorius was seventh with a 278 and 15 tens. Jayse Thorius was 10th. For the girls, Lilith Hernandez was ninth with a 273 and 13 tens. In 3D, the Demons were third of 11 schools with a 1592, behind champion Solon’s 1620. Individually, Jace Helfrich led the boys in sixth at 274 with 10 tens, Jordan Thorius was eighth. For the girls, Aryana Jones was ninth with a 262 and 12 tens.

The Lincoln Demons were bullseye runners up with a 2667 score behind Anamosa’s 2691. Individually, Rosalie Montz was the top Demon girl in sixth overall with a 226 and four tens. The boys had Dawson Zieser seventh at 245 with a pair of tens. Enness Abozena was ninth and Isaac Love 10th. The Lincoln Demons were second in 3D as a team at 1231 with Anamosa first at 1245. Individually, best for the Demon girls was Zoey Marner fourth at 190 with a ten. Tinley Timmins was seventh, Rosalie Montz eighth, and Emma Timmins ninth. For the boys, Dawson Zieser was fifth at 230 with four tens, followed by Mason Ousey seventh,

For the Golden Hawk high school team it was a 3D team title with their score of 1659. Individually, Averi Janecek was girls runner-up at 285 with 19 tens. She was followed by Lael Seale in fifth. For the boys, Johnathon Pickard was 11th with a 278 and 15 tens. In block, the Hawks were seventh of 12 teams at 3264. Lael Seale won the individual girls title at 287 with 19 tens. Averi Janecek was ninth. For the boys, Johnathon Pickard was eighth at 286 with 16 tens.

For the middle school Hawks, it was a fifth place team block finish with 3155. Individually, Nolan Mohling was eighth for the boys at 278 with 13 tens. Bryce Miller was ninth. For the girls, Ellie Rand was 27th with a 260 and five tens. In 3D, The Hawks were also fifth with a 1572. Individually, Bryce Miller was third for the boys with a 276 and 15 tens. Lara Brenneman led the girls in eighth with a 263 and nine tens.

In elementary block, Bretton Flynn led the boys in fifth at 248 with seven tens. For the girls it was Emilia Rodgers in eighth at 222 and five tens. In 3D, Bretton Flynn was again the leader for the boys in ninth at 216 with a pair of tens and Emilia Rodgers led the girls in 10th with 168 and a ten.
