The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys wrestling team finished their conference schedule with a trip to the River Valley Conference Championship meet at Wilton.

The Hawks were 14th of 16 teams with their score of 33 points. Alburnett won the title with 229. Top finish for Mid-Prairie came from Tommy Miller as runner-up at 215lbs. He put together a 2-1 tournament that included a pin of Ryker Hein of Monticello in the quarterfinals, and a 5-1 decision win over Porter Shetler of Iowa City Regina in the semis before dropping a finals contest to Kamdyn Kraklio of Durant by tech fall. Brock Fisher also got on the podium for the Hawks, finishing sixth at heavyweight with a 2-2 day that included pins of Liam Flinckinger of Bellevue and Daiveon Kriegel of West Branch.

Mid-Prairie travels to Prairie City Monroe Saturday.
