The Washington Public Library is celebrating Fiber Arts February all month long, and fiber artist Grace Tully will be part of a living window demonstration. The wool spinning exhibit will be at the Washington Public Library this Friday.
Washington Librarian LeAnn Kunz shares what patrons will see if they stop by during the demonstration, “She will be here from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. So all day long, and if you walk by the library you can see her spinning. If you would like to come and visit with her she would welcome that, so people can come and sit in the front room and watch her spin. She says it’s more spinning time for her so she doesn’t mind being here all day.”
Tully will be at the Washington Public Library demonstrating spinning wool this Friday, and there will be two more chances to see her working in person. She will be returning to the library’s front window on Saturday the 21st from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and February 26th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A full list of Fiber Arts February activities and exhibits can be found on the Washington Public Library website.
