Respiratory illnesses continue to be elevated in Washington.

According to Washington County Hospital and Clinics, this week, multiple illnesses are circulating at elevated levels in the area. Influenza remains very high, while COVID and Strep are both rated as substantial. RSV activity is also high at this time.

With several respiratory illnesses spreading, everyone is encouraged to take extra precautions to avoid the spread of illness. People should wash hands often, cover coughs and sneezes, avoid close contact when sick, and seek care early if symptoms develop.
