The Washington Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Washington will be celebrating the grand opening of a new business in downtown Washington this Friday. 

The celebration will be held for La Mexicana-Tienda de Aborrotes. The new business is located at 208 South Marion Avenue. A confetti pop and ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. La Mexicana is a grocery store offering Mexican and Central American products. 

This location previously housed Gray’s Pet Supplies. 

The public can enjoy the celebration, meet the owner, and be part of this milestone.
