The Sigourney-Keota Girls wrestling team spent Saturday at the Colfax-Mingo Tournament. It was a big day for SK, mixed in with some large schools and heavy hitters, the Savages placed third of 21 teams with 143 points. Pella won the meet with 193. Karley Greiner was the 155lb champion for SK, clinching the title with a 5-2 ultimate tie-break win over Justus Buelow of Saydel.

Other top finishes for the Savages included third each for Kia Montgomery at 125lbs and Izzy Heisdorffer at 140. Aubrey Utterback at 110 and Bristol Ward at 115lbs were third and Neaveah Beinhart at 130lbs and Melanie Woodsmall at 170 were both fifth.
