A season of success for players under the Friday night lights at Sigourney-Keota has also led to post-season awards for those on the sideline. SK assistant football coach Bronson McCulley was named Class 1A District 6 Assistant Coach of the Year.

The Cobras placed 19 players on All-District teams, including 10 on First-Team. SK finished in the top 10 of Class 1A in 10 different offensive and defensive team and individual categories.

The Cobras finished as District runners-up with a 4-1 mark, going 5-5 overall, advancing to the second round of the 1A playoffs.
