Despite a season high score, the Washington Demons bowling team again finished second in its most recent triangular, finishing ten pins shy of first place Keokuk, but finishing well-ahead of third place Fairfield.

After the first round, Washington had established its second place position, but trailed Keokuk 1977 to 1906 heading into the baker rotation. The Demons were able to make up a little bit of that ground in the bakers, but ultimately fell short while still establishing a season high score  of 2909. Keokuk once again finished on top with 2919. Fairfield finished third with 2612.

Mitchell Zieglowsky was the pace setter for Washington on Tuesday, bowling a 437 through two games. Kaeden Zear bowled a 392. Kellton Burke rolled a 370, Landen Hawkins scored a 359, Cooper Zahs bowled a 348, and Mason Cattenacio scored a 260.

Washington will head back to Keokuk next Tuesday for the Southeast Conference Tournament, against Keokuk, Fairfield, Mount Pleasant, and Burlington.
