This week’s KCII Area Athlete of the Week is WACO Warrior boys wrestler Ian Maize. The sophomore is out to a 24-2 start to the season and is ranked No. 2 in the latest Class 1A rankings from IAWrestle.com. Maize has won tournament titles this season at Wapello, Springville, Iowa City Regina and last weekend’s Home Warrior Invitational in Wayland where he was named the Tournament’s Most Outstanding Wrestler. Congratulations Ian!
