
The Washington Demon, Golden Hawk and St. James Archery teams traveled to Mount Pleasant last week for the Todd Pringnitz Memorial Bullseye and 3D Shoots.
The Demon high school team were block runners-up with their score of 3263. Hunter Barnes was individual boys champion with his 295 that included 25 tens. Other top 10 Demon boys were Killian Ribble fourth, Ethan Hotchkiss fifth, and Zach Hotchkiss eighth. Emma Helfrich was overall girls runner-up for Washington with a 280 and 15 tens. Itzell Calixto was eighth overall for the Demon girls. The Washington high school team were also runners-up in 3D with a score of 1605. Barnes was boys runner-up with his 288 and 19 tens. Other Washington top 10 boys were Nicholas Charlier fifth, Zach Hotchkiss sixth, and Ribble 10th. For the girls, Charlee Read was the leader in sixth with a 270 and 12 tens, Gabrielle Andrew was eighth and Bella Venenga ninth.
The middle school Demons were block champions with their score of 3146. Washington swept the individual titles with Jordan Thorius the boys winner at 283 and 15 tens. Other top ten Demon boys were Jace Helfrich fifth, Lawson Love eighth, Maison Crawford ninth and Carter Higdon 10th. Girls champ was Washington’s Lilith Hernandez with a score of 261 and nine tens. Other Demon top ten girls were Kirya Coates third, Kaylee McFarland fifth, Chloe Entsminger sixth, and Miriam Pierce eighth. In 3D, the Demons were team runners-up at 1581. Individually, Thorius was boys runner-up to lead the Demons at 269 with 12 tens. Other Washington top 10 boys included Helfrich fifth, Logan Hotchkiss sixth, Love ninth and Kooper Barnes 10th. Aryana Jones was girls runner-up to lead Washington at 267 with 11 tens. Other Demon girls top tens included Kaylee McFarland third, Hernandez fourth, Coates seventh, Addyson Neer eight, Pierce ninth and Jeslynn Stuart 10th.
The Lincoln Demons were team block champs at 2554. Dawson Zieser won the individual boys title with a 251 and seven tens. Other Demon top 10 boys were Gradyn Wade fifth, Mason Ousey sixth, Jack Green seventh, and Rowan Ayrit 10th. Zoey Marner was girls runner-up to pace the Lincoln Demons with a 219 and three tens. Other top 10 Washington shooters were Emma Timmins fourth, Baylor Stromwall ninth and Rosalie Montz 10th. In 3D, it was another Lincoln Demon team championship with a score of 1268. Jack Green was the boys individual champion at 247 with five tens. Other Demon boys top tens were Ayrit third, Ousey fifth, Isaac Love sixth, Zieser seventh, and Owen Gellerstedt 10th. For the Lincoln girls, Marner was fourth at 178 with a pair of tens, followed by teammates Stromwall fifth, Timmins seventh, and Montz eighth.
For the Golden Hawk Archery club, the high school Hawks were team block champs at 3299. Mid-Prairie was led by boys runner-up Johnathon Pickard at 293 with 23 tens. He was followed by Elijah Statler third, Preston Ford seventh and Levi Luers 10th. For the girls, Sophia Puttmann was third at 279 and 16 tens, followed by Madelyn Sieren fourth, Harlee West fifth, Averi Janecek sixth, Allie Whetstine ninth and Ava Miller 10th. The high school Hawks made it a team title sweep, winning 3D with a 1662. Statler collected the boys individual championship with a 291 and 22 tens. Other Golden Hawk boys top tens were Pickard third, Ford fourth, Luers eighth, and Nickholas Kelley ninth. For the girls, Puttman was runner-up at 276 with 11 tens, followed by Janecek third, Miller fourth, West fifth, and Whetstine 10th.
For the middle school Hawks, it was a second place team bullseye finish at 3119. Mason Schneider was boys individual runner-up with a 279 and 16 tens. He was followed by Braxton Ropp third, Noah Coblentz fourth, and Nolan Mohling seventh. For the girls, Lara Brenneman was runner-up with a 261 and seven tens. Josie Miller was seventh and Mycala Plank 10th. In 3D, it was a title sweep for the Hawks, winning the team competition with a 1585. Mohling was boys individual champion with a 278 and 14 tens. Behind him were Coblentz third, Bryce Miller seventh, and Schneider eighth. Brenneman was the girls winner with a 271 and 12 tens, Jenna Puttmann sixth.
For the elementary Hawks, Charlotte Wehr won the individual girls championship with a 224 and four tens. Other top ten Hawks were Emilia Rodgers sixth and Olivia Redig eighth. Logan Beachy led the Golden Hawk boys in third with a 238 and three tens. Axel Miller was fourth, and Bretton Flynn ninth. In 3D, Flynn was boys runner-up with a 240 and five tens, followed by Beachy in fifth. For the girls, Rodgers was third at 182 with four tens.
For the St. James shooters in bullseye Dalia Atilano Marcelino was the leader for the girls taking third with a 206 and two tens. Bennett Vittetoe was fifth, and Merris Beuchle seventh. For the boys, Emmett Gratz was eighth with a 227 and three tens. In 3D for St. James, Bennett Vittetoe was the girls champion with a 196 with three tens, Marcelno was sixth, Rosemarie Rodenborn ninth and Saylor Altenhofen 10th. Gratz was boys leader in ninth with a 209 and three tens.
