Washington County is planning a trip for 4-H’ers to travel out of state in March.
Washington County seventh and eighth grade 4-H’ers are invited to attend the Region 19 4-H trip to Kansas City being held March 27-28. Students will spend the night at the Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium. 4-H’ers will visit the Museum of BBQ, National WWI Museum and Memorial, Arrowhead Stadium, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Union Station, enjoy an interactive KC breakout escape room and Dave and Busters for food and fun.
Iowa, Keokuk, and Johnson County 4-H’ers can also attend, so this trip is a way to make new 4-H friends and explore this Midwest city.
Space is limited and registrations will be accepted online on a first come, first serve basis. Registration is open until February 1st or until the trip is filled. The final registration cost is $342 due to Washington County Extension. Scholarships are available upon request. The fee covers tickets, transportation, lodging, insurance, meals and arcade time.
