The Columbus/Winfield-Mt.Union and WACO boys wrestling teams linked up for a triangular at New London Thursday, joined by the host Tigers. The Wildcats dominated the day, defeating both New London 77-6 and WACO 68-12, but with the Warriors still earning a win on the day over the Tigers, 54-12.

Standout Wildcats included Jagger Thomsen at 144, Trevor Phillips at 190, Kason Dopler at 215, and Ronaldo Villegas at 285. All four went 2-0 on the day. WACO’s Harley Larimore recorded two pins over his opponents at 157.

WACO’s boys will next host the WACO Warrior Invitational on Saturday, while Columbus/WMU makes its way to Centerville for the Mike Halupnick Big Red Invite.
