A two-vehicle wreck Wednesday ended in a citation, and three transported to the University of Iowa Hospital. 

Around 6 p.m. Wednesday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Highway 218 south of Crawfordsville. According to Washington County Communications, a vehicle driven by a juvenile was at the stop sign at the intersection of 320th Street and Highway 218 when they pulled into the intersection into oncoming traffic. A vehicle traveling southbound swerved trying to miss the first vehicle and contact was made. Both vehicles were disabled. 

The juvenile driver and two passengers were transported to the University of Iowa Hospital by the Washington County Ambulance Service. The juvenile was cited for failure to yield to a stop sign. 

The Washington County Sheriff’s Offices was assisted by the Crawfordsville Fire Department and the Washington County Ambulance Service.
