The Washington Demons bowling team finished second at its most recent triangular, taking down Central Lee but again falling just short of Keokuk.
This time around, the Demons bowled at the home house of Keokuk. After dropping low rounds from Round 1, Washington led Central Lee 1873-1569, but trailed Keokuk’s 1997. Following the Bakers, the placements held, with Keokuk taking first with a team score of 2931. Washington finished with 2732, and Central Lee took third with a score of 2224.
A trio of Demons broke 400 to lead the way. Kaeden Zear was top scorer, bowling 415 over two games, but Landon Hawkins and Kellton Burke were right behind him, bowling a 414 and 413 respectively. Mitchell Zieglowsky bowled a 332, Mason Catenaccio bowled a 299, and Cooper Zahs bowled a 291.
Washington will head to Fairfield next Monday for its next triangular. They’ll meet the Trojans, as well as the Centerville Big Reds.
