The Keota boys and girls both dominated their matchups against Iowa Valley on Tuesday, with the girls winning 50-13, and the boys following that up with a 69-48 win themselves.

On the girls side, the Eagles left no room for doubt, taking a 19-6 lead after the first, and blanking the Tigers in the second while increasing the gap to 38-6. Although the Eagles only scored 12 second half points, it was more than enough, with a running clock quickly bringing the game to a close at 50-13.

The boys game, while closer, still saw Keota overwhelm their opponent. A 19-11 lead after the first grew to 37-18 by the half, and despite two relatively even quarters in the second half, the Eagles still cruised to a 69-48 win.

Both Keota squads have added another win to their lengthy winning streaks. The girls have now won four in a row and sit at 10-3 overall, 6-3 in the South Iowa Cedar conference. The boys are winners of five straight to improve their record to 8-3, and 6-3 in conference, one game back of rivals Sigourney.

Keota will face off against Moulton-Udell in a doubleheader on Thursday.
