Monday, the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls wrestling team made the trip to Anamosa for a River Valley Conference quad with Cascade, Maquoketa and the home Blue Raiders. The Hawks fell to the Cougars 48-36, Cardinals 54-27 and the home Raiders 37-36 on tiebreaker criteria E, most forfeits. Individual standouts on the night included Austyn Sexton 3-0 with a pair of pins. Ellie Callahan was also unbeaten with a fall and an 8-2 decision. Lynde Cole finished 2-1 with two pins and Destina Moyle was 2-1 with a pin. The Hawks have a 9-10 dual record for the year.
