Local sharpshooters took over Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman Saturday for the annual Golden Hawk Archery Club Bullseye and 3D championships.

The Washington Demons left Wellman with four team titles. The high school Demons were third of four teams in block with a score of 3241, Cedar Rapids Prairie won the championship at 3369. Hunter Barnes was boys runner-up with a 290 and 21 tens, Braydon Clough was ninth. For the Demon girls, Charlee Read was seventh with a 282 and 16 tens, and Hannah Lipski was eighth. In 3D, the high school Demons were third of three at 1623. Killian Ribble led the boys in sixth with a 276 and 11 tens. Hunter Barnes was seventh and Ethan Hotchkiss 10th. Hannah Lipski was sixth for the Washington girls at 274 with 12 tens.

The middle school Demons were block team champs with their score of 3153, edging out Mid-Prairie’s 3127. Jordan Thorius was boys individual champ at 281 with 14 tens. Jace Helfrich was seventh, Jayse Thorius eighth and Michael Corso ninth. The Demon girls had Aly Black fourth with a 261 and 12 tens, followed by Miriam Pierce fifth, and Addyson Neer sixth. The Demons were also the 3D champs at 1593, beating Mid-Prairie by 20. Addyson Neer led Washington as girls runner-up at 267 with 12 tens, followed by Kirya Coates third, Aryana Jones fourth, and Kaylee McFarland ninth. For the boys, Jordan Thorius was third at 271 with 13 tens, followed by Jace Helfrich fourth, and Logan Hotchkiss seventh.

The Lincoln Demons were team block champs at 2537, beating St. James. Mason Ousey was boys individual champ at 253 with four tens, followed by Isaac Love fourth, and Rowan Ayrit eighth. For the girls, Zoey Marner was champion with a 246 and three tens, followed by Baylor Stromwall third, Rosalie Montz fifth, and Emma Timmins ninth. The 3D team title belonged to the Lincoln Demons with their score of 1322.  Rowan Ayrit was individual boys champ with a 241 and five tens, followed by Mason Ousey second, Dawson Zieser third, Owen Gellerstedt sixth, Jack Green eighth and Isaac Love ninth. Zoey Marner was the girls champion at 225 with five tens, followed by Baylor Stromwall third, Rosalie Montz fifth, Emma Timmins seventh, and Kiara Murphy 10th.

For the Golden Hawk club high schoolers, they were second in block at 3284. Johnathon Pickard won the boys title with a 291 and 21 tens. Elijah Statler was fifth, Averi Janecek was girls runner-up with a 290 and 21 tens. Lael Seale was fifth. In 3D, the Hawks won the team title with a 1669. Elijah Statler was the overall boys winner at 282 and 16 tens, Johnathon Pickard was fifth and Eli Conrad ninth. For the girls, Sophia Puttmann was runner-up at 285 with 17 tens, followed by Averi Janecek fourth, Lael Seale fifth, and Ava Miller ninth.

Middle school Hawks were second as a team in 3D with a 1573. Joshua Seale was boys individual champ with a 277 and 16 tens, followed by Noah Coblentz fifth, Mason Schneider sixth, Nolan Mohling eighth and Braxton Ropp ninth. Lara Brenneman was fifth to lead the girls at 251 with 10 tens. Ruby Regenwether was sixth, and Brooklyn Liska 10th.

Elementary Golden Hawk leaders in block for the boys included Bretton Flynn fifth with a 228 and four tens, Axel Miller seventh, Jayce Frieden ninth and Logan Beachy 10th. For the girls, Emilia Rodgers was sixth with a 194 and three tens and Charlotte Wehr seventh. In 3D, Emilia Rodgers was girls runner-up with a 184 and three tens and for the boys Axel Miller was fifth with a 221 and six tens.

For St. James in 3D it was a 929 team total. Bennett Vittetoe was fourth for the girls with a 167 and two tens, Dalia Atilano Marcelino was sixth, Rosemarie Rodenborn was ninth. For the boys, Maxton DeLong was 10th with a 188 and three tens. In block, the St. James team score was 1797. For the girls, Dalia Atilano Marcelino was fourth at 205 with two tens, and the boys had Emmett Gratz 16th with a 192 and two tens.
