The Washington County Supervisors heard two personnel change requests for the Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, both bringing previous experience to Washington County. 

Chief Deputy Chad Ellis presented the personnel changes, “This is going to be for Blake Honeycutt, he is going to go full-time deputy. He is coming from Grinnell PD, so he has a little bit of experience, and will be starting January 12th in the Sheriff’s Office. The second one is going to be Jacob Baughman at the Washington County Jail. He is coming from Black Hawk County, so he’s got some experience also through the jail staff, and he will be starting the 8th of January.” 

The supervisors approved the new hires unanimously. These positions were previously empty.
