Multiple agencies responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 218 Monday morning. 

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at 7:14 a.m. emergency officials responded to multiple reports of a collision between a vehicle and semi that took place in the northbound lanes of Highway 218 near Crawfordsville. A child was trapped inside a vehicle. Two Washington County Ambulances transported people to the University of Iowa for evaluation. 

Agencies responding to the scene were the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, Crawfordsville Fire Department and QRS, and Washington County Ambulance.
