It was a .500 day for the Highland boys wrestling team when they traveled to Lisbon for the Lion’s Den Duals. The Huskies were a 54-20 winner over Clayton Ridge and took down Cedar Rapids Washington 45-33. Highland was short 45-30 against Mount Vernon and 52-21 against the home Lions. Headliners on the day for the Huskies included unbeaten tournaments for Landon Sweeting, Cash Cole, and Rocky Hamilton. Sweeting recorded a pin and a 2-0 decision, Cole two pins and a tech fall and Hamilton a pin and tech fall. Corbin Plank, Brock Nebergall and Brock Thomann were all 3-1. Plank had two pins, Nebergall a major decision and 8-4 decision and Thomann was a winner by 9-3 and 6-2 scores.
