The Washington Chamber of Commerce is hosting a post-holiday take-and-bake meal fundraiser presented by Halcyon House and Circa 59.
Halcyon House and Circa 59 have teamed up to offer their take-and-bake meals. These meals feed a family of four and there are breakfast, lunch, and dinner options available. The meals cost from 15$ to $22 each.
Halcyon House Director of Sales Alisha Davis shares, “So we are doing take-and-bakes at Circa 59, and we are partnering with the Washington Chamber of Commerce to give back some of the proceeds from that fundraiser to the lights around the square. It will be a really nice fundraiser, and who wants to cook during the holidays? I mean we already cook so much, it’s nice to have dinner ready for you.” Forty percent of proceeds from every meal purchased will be donated to the Chamber of Commerce for the annual downtown holiday lights display. Pick up dates are January 16th and 17th, and the order must be received by January 13th. A link with more information can be found with this news story at KCIIRadio.com
The Chamber does a number of fundraising events like the Candlelight Tour of Homes to raise funds for the ongoing maintenance of the holiday lights.
