Washington County Hospital and Clinics has announced that they are expanding their partnership with the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics midwives.
Beginning on January 1st, UIHC Midwives are expanding access in Washington. Patients will now be seen two days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The service will be at a new location in the hospital – the Outreach Southwest which is entrance 5.
Midwives can play an important role when you need pregnancy care or want holistic support during labor and delivery. They also provide the ongoing gynecologic care you need throughout life.
Appointments are by referral. You can find more information on UIHC midwifery services at the link with this news story at KCIIRadio.com.
